Catching the new tram to Burleigh? Breakfast is sorted.

The light rail finally rolled into Burleigh on 9 August, and we could not be happier about it. The new Burleigh Heads station sits on the Gold Coast Highway, a short walk from our door at 1748 Gold Coast Highway.

That means you can now ride the G:link from Surfers, Broadbeach or anywhere along the line and step off practically at the bakery. No parking, no circling the block on a Sunday. Just off the tram and straight to the pastry case.

What to order when you arrive

We bake everything on site, in small batches, every day. If it is your first visit, start here:

A cruller. Choux pastry, made fresh daily, in vanilla bean and custard, cinnamon or dulce de leche.

The Bullseye Bang. Fried eggs, avocado, double smoked streaky bacon and our house chilli sambal on an everything bagel.

A Tarte House Blend coffee, roasted for us by Parallel Roasters.

The kitchen runs from 6:30am to 2pm, and the full menu is on our Burleigh menu page. Weekends are busy, so if you are riding in for brunch, earlier is better. An 8% surcharge applies on Sundays.

Make a day of it

Burleigh is built for a car-free day out. Roll in on the tram, have breakfast with us, walk the headland through Burleigh Hill National Park, then wander back along James Street for the shops. If you are heading further south, Currumbin and our Beach House on the creek are a short drive or bus ride away.

We are walk-in only at Burleigh, seven days a week. See you off the tram.
